PidginPalace Arts presents a series of portraits in the European Style by Alyssa Burr. Her work is classical, representational, and allegorical, with an emphasis on color and beauty. With the audaciousness born of an earlier era, the 90’s, she tells the stories of hustlers and lovers she has known.
Alyssa Burr
Alyssa was born in 1961 and lived overseas until High School in Washington DC.
Since 1984 she has been painting Arizona landscapes and Tucson architecture , along with a series of portraits of its’ residents.
She also writes, draws cartoons and collects vintage clothing.
