Nothing has changed the world more than the industrial revolution. Awe inspiring technology has made life easier for the richest countries and so much harder for the poorest. The mass production of food, weapons, energy and goods has created a new age of generations who are completely disconnected from how to live within the laws of nature, the very laws that allow all life to live sustainably on this miraculous planet. 

What we humans now call progress has spawned generations that have chosen to exploit and damage our only home for profit. Now we are at a point where multinational conglomerates have consumed small businesses and unchecked consumerism has engulfed every aspect of our modern lives. Our drive to constantly have more has left us morally bankrupt and causes us to value disposable goods over preserving our planet for ourselves and our future generations.
